equipoise pilates clinics

increase your understanding of posture, compensatory patterns and needs both in and out of the saddle

Equipoise Pilates Balanced Rider, Balanced Horse Clinics are designed to both educate, inform and inspire the rider. The Clinics run over both one and three days and each rider will develop a deeper understanding of their individual postural balance, compensatory patterns and needs, both in and out of the saddle.

Each clinic has a maximum of 8 riders that are divided into a morning and an afternoon group of 4 riders.

Each group session starts with a combination of Pilates, Franklin Method Equestrian, FAMO Fascia Movement and functional training on the mat, focusing on preparing both mind and body for riding. Each rider then has a private 45 minute ridden session that focuses on the rider’s balance, posture, position and effectiveness in the saddle. In-saddle release and activation techniques, plus awareness exercises effectively facilitate change in both horse and rider, creating greater harmony, balance and connection.

The 3 day clinic format has a lunchtime lecture and Q & A session where participants have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have and further develop their knowledge of rider biomechanics.
