FAMO Fascia Movement®
FAMO Fascia Movement is a contemporary, multidimensional and research-informed training approach. It implements fascia-focused, body-mind movement training on the mat. This integral mat based training can be enhanced and adapted with massage balls and other small supportive props. The focus lies on the health-enhancing properties of fascia which contribute to the balance of your posture, movement efficiency and vitality. The contrasting movement sequences contain dynamic and rhythmical, as well as soft and melting exercises. The method is based on new findings in fascia research and movement science. FAMO combines the Anatomy Trains concept which portrays the body-wide connectedness of muscles and fascia in myofascial slings.
Pilates is optimally complimented by FAMO Fascia Movement. The interplay and collaboration of muscles and fascia provide internal support, energy efficiency and adaptability to different life circumstances. The combination of FAMO and Pilates optimizes structural balance in the body which improves your athletic performance and functionality in daily life.
